We Remember The Virginia Tech Massacre
April 16, 2008 – 7:00 am
Seung-Hui Cho. There I said it. Days before, when I knew I wanted to write this article, I was stuck between making a decision to say his name or not. On one hand, I did not want to say it. I did not want to give him the satisfaction regardless if he was burning in Hell or was forgiven by the Almighty and was allowed to enter the Gates. Then on the other hand, the young man was mentally unstable, and though I may be criticized, it is not all his fault, especially when his condition was a known condition, but yet no action was taken. This could have been prevented. Does that mean that we should forgive him? I can’t, at least not yet. My heart is too broken to consider that just yet.
But this post isn’t to remember Seung-Hui Cho. This post is to remember the 32 young men and women who’s lives have perished to this unfortunate. If you are religious, pray for them. Pray for their families. Pray for the school. If you are not religious, remember them. Honor them. Cherish them. Love them.
You will always be remembered and I’m am so sorry your lives were taken prematurely and in such an horrendous manner. God Bless.

I am student from Virginia Tech. Thanks for remembering us.
Great post. As life goes on, events get pushed into the background but things like this shouldn’t be forgotten. Your post helped me remember that even though life goes on for so many not personally touched, there are still survivors and family of lost ones who still grieve.
