HelpMyCashGrow.com: What else will it cover?
March 6, 2008 – 7:00 amMy gosh, I’m going to try to keep this post short. Just the title alone should tell you that I have a lot planned for the site and there’s more to explain. I want it to be an active site, so for it to be active, I’m including a lot of features.
Here’s what we do know:
- It’s a personal finance site.
- Semi-blogCommunity oriented
- Blog posts from authors & the curious.
What else will I have?
- Video & Audio Podcasts.
- And will cover an even larger array of subjects.
What can I say? I have a lot of hobbies. Cooking, gaming, video editing, computers, web designing, reading, fitness, and learning Spanish. True enough this will always be a personal finance site, but why not talk about so much more! Wouldn’t it be great to know how to make a receipe with limited ingredients? How to fix a broken computer and what I do with spare parts? How do you say “Excuse me, do you have a dollar?†in Spanish? (Perdon, tiene un dolare?) And maybe I might want to brag about one of my gaming adventures! It can all be done here, and I’m very excited to hear some of the feedback that I receive from my viewers.
Also, hopefully you’ve just viewed the very first episode of the Video Blog and Podcast and throughout that video I mentioned that I will start releasing videos in both audio and video format. The next is to be released next week. The reason why I’m launching audio is to supply those that do not have a video IPod or player. This way they will still have access to the audio. It’s not much more work for me, it’s just of matter of extracting the audio from the video (just a couple of seconds, maybe minutes, of work). But remember, you won’t receive the same feel from the audio as you would from the video. And with podcasting comes podcasting tutorials.
Also I’m busy retrieving and viewing articles from other authors so we can start placing those as contributed articles on the site and would like to thank those that have submitted. Contributed articles will be displayed next month, hopefully as a regular feature.
